I have one of
the new iPods (Nano 4th gen., iTouch 2nd gen., or the
Classic 120GB). Are these compatible
with this unit and what docking insert do I use?
This unit has a universal well and
all these new iPods are compatible. You
should use the bracket that came with your new iPod. Or, if you prefer, you can substitute the
black brackets included with the unit as follows: Nano 4th gen. - # 8, iTouch 2nd
gen. – # 14, and Classic 120GB – #9.
How do you
set the clock?
To set the
clock press and hold the CLK SET button while pressing the HOUR and MIN buttons
to adjust the time on the system.
Is there an
alarm feature on this docking system?
There is no
ALARM feature on this system. This is a speaker system that has a clock as an
added feature.
Why can’t I
connect my iPod to my iLive player?
Check to
see that the iPod input dock is centered before you attempt to dock your iPod
into your iLive player. This can be done by moving the 30-pin connector from
right to left on your docking system. It is recommended that you insert the
plastic bracket (included) designated for your iPod before docking your
player. Each included bracket has a number
on it, indicating which iPod model that bracket is compatible with. See separate bracket chart page to indentify
which bracket is needed for your iPod.
