Can I hook up my D1816 through my VCR?
No you can not hook it up through the VCR. If your TV is an older model and it does not have an RCA input you must purchase an RF modulator for the TV. An RF modulator can be purchased at any electronics store for a nominal fee.
What do I do if I am getting sound but no picture?
First make sure all connections are correct. You may have inadvertently chosen the progressive scan function. While in the stop mode, open the disc tray and press the "Video" button on the remote until you get a picture. Please note that there are two different versions of this model available. If your remote control does not have a "Video" button, look on the back of the unit itself for an "On Off" switch to turn off the Progressive Scan.
How do I stop my picture from rolling?
Your TV may be in PAL when it should be in NTSC. To remedy this using the remote control press the NP button twice. This button is located near the bottom on the left hand side of the remote control.
