How do I turn my CD player on and off?

Press the Play/Pause button to turn on the player and start playback. Press the Stop button once to end playback of the CD, then press the Stop button again to turn the player off.

 

What does the mode button do?

The mode button controls how you want your CD played back.  Your choices are random order, repeat a track, repeat the entire CD or to play the intro of each track.

 

What is a MP3 disc?

MP3 disk contains tracks that are in MP3 format as opposed to the standard audio discs which the tracks are in WAV format.  MP3 tracks are smaller in size than WAV tracks so more tracks can be on a single disc. Multiple albums can be stored on a MP3 disc as compared to just one album in WAV format.  MP3 discs can only be played using players that are MP3 capable like the PC808 or the tracks will not be recognized.

 

How do I make a MP3 disc?

When creating a disc on your computer, choose to create a data disc instead of an audio disc on your CD burning software (ex. Roxio) then add all your desired MP3 tracks.

 

How do I program the tracks on my CD player?

1. Slide the Open Switch to open the CD door and load a CD into the unit and close the door.

2. Press the Stop Button to put the unit in Stop Mode.

3. Press the EQ/Program Button.

4. Press the Skip Up, Skip Down Buttons, or +10 Button to select a directory.

5. Press the Skip Up, Skip Down Buttons, or +10 Button to select an audio track.

6. Press the EQ/Program Button to program the selected track to play first.

7. Repeat steps 4-5 to create a programmed list of tracks that will play in the order they were selected.
