My speaker unit went dead, how do I change the batteries?

This model has a lithium ion rechargeable battery, you charge the speaker with the included USB cord through the computer.  Or, you can purchase an optional AC adaptor.  See the Parts and Accessories tab.

Can I play other MP3 players with this unit?

No, this unit is made specifically for the iPod shuffle.
