How do I connect my TV to this home theater?

The HT219B has an AUX input located on the rear of this unit.  Connect the audio OUTPUT of you TV, or Cable/Satellite box to the AUX IN. Once connected turn on the HT219B and press the source button unit “AU IN” appears on the display.

Why do only 2 speakers play when I watch TV or listen to the radio?

Press the surround button on the remote control unit “Sur On” displays.

Why don’t the rear speakers make any sound when I’m watching a DVD?

Rear speakers in a surround are used for ambience and movement during movie playback.  Sound information is not sent to these speakers at all times, only when these effects are needed in a movie.
