How do I connect my TV to this home theater?

The HT362B has an AUX input located on the rear of this unit.  Connect the audio OUTPUT of you TV, or Cable/Satellite box to the AUX IN. Once connected turn on the HT362B and press the source button for AUX input.

Why do only 2 speakers play when I watch TV or listen to the radio?

When connected to a TV or listening to the radio, this system will only output sound to the front right and left speaker and subwoofer or 2.1 Ch.

5.1 surround will only occur when the DVD player is used.

Why don’t the rear speakers make any sound when I’m watching a DVD?

Rear speakers in a surround are used for ambiance and movement during movie playback.  Sound information is not sent to these speakers at all times, only when these effects are needed in a movie.
